Acceptance of the Terms and Use
These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Community Reinvestment Fund, Inc., d/b/a Community Reinvestment Fund, USA, and its affiliates (“CRF”), and govern your access to and use of this website, including content, functionality, and services offered on or through this website. CRF operates Connect2Capital, a hosted web application owned, developed, managed and supported by CRF, as a service to connect small businesses to a network of Community Development Financial Institutions (“CDFIs”) and other mission driven service partners who desire to provide sources of capital and/or business guidance resources based on a broad set of criteria (the “Service” or “Connect2Capital”).
Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the Site. By accessing, browsing and/or using this website (“Site”) you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not access and/or use this Site.
This Site and its entire contents, proprietary notices, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, Services, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by the CRF, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Information on this Site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
CRF may, in its sole discretion and without notice, revise these Terms of Use at any time. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all access and use to the Site thereafter. It is your responsibility regularly to review this Agreement and to acquaint yourself with any changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
Service Terms
Description of Services
CRF agrees to provide access to the Service based on your intent to find a commercial lender that may be able to meet your business’s capital needs. CRF utilizes the Connect2Capital application to provide assistance in connecting with CDFIs and other mission driven service partners that are on the Connect2Capital network that desire to provide business capital and/or business guidance resources. Your access to the Service is licensed and not sold. Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, CRF agrees to provide you with access to and use of the Service.
Description of Connect2Capital
Through your use of Connect2Capital, you will be asked a number of questions to attempt to match you with a small business lender. Once you have entered the requested information, Connect2Capital will present you with any financing products that meet your requested criteria. Each participating small business lender has provided information on their financing product, and you may decide whether to send a full application to each participating small business lender by clicking on the link presented to you by that lender. If CRF has any financing products that meet your request criteria, CRF will be listed as a potential match and CRF’s financing products will be listed at the top of any list of potential financing product matches. Connect2Capital does not evaluate whether you are eligible for credit or whether a lender will accept your application, Connect2Capital merely attempts to connect you with a mission-driven lender that offers financing products that fit your requested criteria.
Disclosure of Fees
If you apply to one of the small business lenders presented to you through Connect2Capital and you end up successfully closing a loan with that lender, the lender will pay CRF a fee between 0.00% and 1.0% upon closing. No fee will be payable by you for your use of this Service. CRF will show you all matching products and you are responsible for evaluating and choosing the preferred lender and financing product for your needs. Each lender on Connect2Capital, including CRF, may receive a different fee compared to other lenders, however, the order in which options are presented to you will not reflect those differences.
Disclosure of CRF as lender
In addition to operating Connect2Capital, CRF may also provide loans to small business borrowers and CRF or an affiliate may appear as an option for you if you match with one of the financing products that CRF offers.
Application to lending partner CRF makes no representation or warranties as to how a lending partner may respond to your application, including but not limited to whether a lending partner may accept or deny your application.
Once connected to a lending partner, your application is between you and that lending partner. There are no guarantees whatsoever that you will receive a loan by using this Site or Connect2Capital.
Copyright in Materials
The copyright in all materials provided or posted on this Site is held by CRF or by the original creator of the material. Except as stated herein, none of the materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior written permission of CRF or the copyright owner. Any unauthorized use of the materials contained on this Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity and/or communications regulations and statutes. All content and functionality on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and images and the selection and arrangement thereof, are the exclusive property of CRF or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Your use of this Site is conditioned upon your honoring these copyrights and other intellectual property rights reflected on the Site.

Access to some of this Site may be password-restricted. The information supplied by you in connection with your registration is subject to CRF’s Privacy Policy, located on this Site. You shall not share your password with anyone and shall take reasonable care to protect your password from unauthorized use and disclosure. You must promptly report to CRF any known, suspected, or anticipated unauthorized use of your password.
Trademarks
Unless otherwise stated, the trademarks, service marks and logos (the “Trademarks”) used and displayed on this Site are registered and unregistered Trademarks of CRF. Other trademarks, service marks and trade names may be owned by others. Nothing on this Site should be construed as granting any license or right to use any Trademark or any other CRF intellectual property displayed on this Site. The name CRF or any other Trademarks may not be used in any way, including in advertising or publicity pertaining to distribution of materials on this Site, without prior written permission from CRF.

CRF welcomes links to its Site. If you want to link to the CRF Site, you may do so. By establishing a link to the CRF Site, you’ll be deemed to have agreed to the following link conditions:
- You are granted by CRF a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CRF name, logo and tag line (“Capital for communities. Opportunities for people”) – all of which are covered by registration mark protection – solely for the purpose of linking your web site to the CRF web site. You may not use any other CRF or CRF-affiliated company service marks for any other purpose. This license may be terminated at any time at CRF’s sole discretion, at which time you agree to remove all links to the CRF Site and cease using the service mark protected items described above.

Any waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be effective only if in writing and signed by CRF.
