The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) provides disaster loans for small businesses. There are several different disaster loan options for small businesses with varying terms and use of funds requirements.

Safety Tips for Cleanup Efforts 

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has put together a fact sheet to help keep workers safe during disaster recovery efforts. This fact sheet identifies potential hazards that can occur during the cleanup process and offers precautions to protect you and your employees.

Tax Relief in Disaster Situations 

Victims of Hurricane Ian who have suffered property damage may be eligible for special tax help from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Flood Insurance for Small Businesses 

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is managed by FEMA and provides flood insurance to property owners, renters and businesses. FEMA is encouraging NFIP policyholders impacted by Hurricane Ian to file claims now.
